The permit is issued for a period of:
The validity of a foreign economic agreement (contract) concluded between a Ukrainian and a foreign enterprise, but not more than three years - for seconded foreign workers.
The effect of a decision by a foreign enterprise to transfer a foreigner or stateless person to work in Ukraine and an employment agreement (contract) concluded by a Ukrainian enterprise with a foreigner or stateless person, but not more than three years - for intra-corporate assignees;
The validity of a certificate of application for protection in Ukraine or a certificate of the established form of application for recognition as a stateless person, but not more than one year - for persons in respect of whom a decision has been made to issue documents to resolve the issue of recognition as a refugee or a person who requires additional protection;
Validity of the employment contract (agreement), but not more than one year during the period of study - for foreigners and stateless persons who arrived in Ukraine for the purpose of studying at higher educational institutions and intend to carry out labor activities in Ukraine during the period of study and after completion of study, subject to employment no later than 30 calendar days before the completion of study;
The duration of an employment contract or gig contract, but not more than two years – for all other foreign employees and gig workers.

After reviewing the documents, no later than 2 working days, the decision is sent to the employer and posted on the employment service website;
After a positive decision is made, the employer pays a government fee for issuing a permit;
No later than 3 working days after the amount for issuing a permit has been credited to the Employment Center account, the employer may receive such a permit in hand.
